This is the first time in our nation’s history that the average price of gas is $5/gallon. And instead of doing what he can to ease the pressure on everyone’s pockets, our president is ruining our standing among the world by begging other countries to give us more oil. More and more domestic natural gas plants are being shut down, so it’s no wonder it costs 18% more than last year to fill up our gas tanks. When will we learn that the people running our country are out-of-touch elites that will never understand the struggle they put us through?
