DALLAS – (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Police are searching for the driver of a red pickup truck they say plowed into a vehicle carrying several people Friday night, killing two teenagers, ages 15 and 16. Police say it happened on Esperanza Street, near an elementary school and the intersections of Spring Valley and Coit Roads.
Police believe they are searching for a Hispanic man in his 40’s they say did not stop to check on the conditions of those he hit. He was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and pants.
Police say the red pickup was driving too fast southbound in a northbound lane. Three others were sent to area hospitals for treatment, though their injuries were considered non-life threatening.
