
Austin, TX (WBAP/KLIF) The Office of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is now asking for public donations to help pay for charter buses transporting migrants to the nation’s capital.
In response to the pending end of Title 42 expulsions, Gov. Abbott directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to charter buses to Washington.

As of april 22, a total of 10 buses have made their way to DC from Texas carrying voluntary migrants from 10 countries, including
Angola, Brazil, Colombia, Congo, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Panama, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
According to the New York Post, Abbott’s office confirmed to last Wednesday that “152 immigrants have been relocated out of the Lone Star State.” That works out to an average of 19 migrants per bus on vehicles that can transport up to 40.
