(WBAP/KLIF) — A North Texas middle school teacher has resigned after comments made in a school hallway about COVID-19 vaccines.
A video surfaced online of a Colleyville Middle School teacher talking with two other colleagues in a high traffic area.
In the video, the teacher shared her political views about COVID-19 vaccines and said conservative Christians “need to get COVID and die.”
The Grapevine-Colleyville ISD released a statement saying “the sentiments expressed in the video do not reflect the views of [the district] or Colleyville Middle School.”
Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Board President Jorge Todriguez released a message, saying the board “strongly rejects the expressions” made in the video.
According to WFAA, the teacher in question resigned her position with the school, Thursday.
