Dallas County Adjusts COVID-19 Threat Level

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Guidance is changing as COVID-19 trends continue to fall in Dallas County.

The county’s Public Health Committee adjusted the COVID threat level from Red, stay at home, to Orange, Extreme Caution, as the number of COVID cases and hospitalizations is dropping.

County Judge Clay Jenkins said on Monday that doctors now believe it’s safe for residents to get out more.

“Eating out, and visiting with small groups of friends,” said Jenkins. “These are all things that Doctors say it’s safe to do now.”

While COVID cases are still being reported, local health experts expect trends to keep falling.
