UPDATE: Family Shooting Tragedy in Corsicana and Frost, Texas

UPDATE: 2/9/22 5:56AM (WBAP/KLIF) – A sixth person connected to a tragic mass murder-suicide has died, according to Corsicana police.

20-year old Xavier Milazzo 10 p.m. Feb. 7 after he was disconnected from life support at John Peter Smith Hospital.

UPDATE: 02/06/2022; 12:45 pm: Police now identify the shooting suspect as 41 year old Kevin Milazzo, the child as 4 year old Hunter Freeman. The child was reported with his father 21-year-old Joshua Milazzo. Also identified among the dead, the suspect’s mother, 61-year-old Connie Mimms, and her husband, 68-year-old Bill Mimms..

Police say the suspect was found dead in a vehicle tracked to nearby Frost, Texas; dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Police say three other unidentified adults were taken to area hospitals with wounds; conditions not released.

Corsicana – (WBAP/KLIF) – Corsicana police say a gunman killed four family members, including a child, before fatally shooting himself as officers approached him.

It happened Friday night into Saturday morning in two locations, according to police. They say shootings took place in Corsicana and in Frost, 20 miles to the west.

Corsicana Police Chief Robert Johnson reports police found the suspect male inside a vehicle with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. No names or ages are yet released.
