H-E-B Adds Southern Dallas to its North Texas Holdings

(WFAA)

Dallas-Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Amid criticism that some high end grocers have ignored southern Dallas County, H-E-B has purchased a vacant building near Duncanville and Desoto.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the old building was an Albertson’s for 19 years until 2004.

No word on what the company plans to do with the building, but spokesperson Marbrie Jackson told The News by email, “We look forward to serving more Texans with our multi-format store offerings.”

Last year H-E-B expanded into DFW, announcing 3 new stores in Collin County.
