WBAP/KLIF – DALLAS – One person is under arrest after Dallas police bust what they call a chop shop found next to Wilmer Hutchins Elementary School. Police say they found 32 disassembled stolen vehicles at that site in the 800 block of J J Lemmon Road.
Police indicate the bust was made after information about it initially came from a Department of Public Safety helicopter that is reported to have hit on a low jack sending a signal from a stolen vehicle. It was reportedly tracked to the location inside Dallas, where police later organized a raid.
28 year old Claudio Morales Diaz is reported to be under arrest, but what charges he faces have not yet been released by officials.
