DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas Police arrested second teenager wanted in connection to a deadly hit and run during a street race.
Investigators said 19-year-old Brayan Montoya and 18-year-old Andrew Martinez were behind the wheels of two cars that were speeding southbound on Ferguson near Highwood Drive when 73-year-old Linda Pearson and her dog were hit.
Police arrested Montoya last week and charged him with accident involving death and racing on a highway causing bodily injury.

CrimeStoppers had offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest but police have not released details on how Montoya and Martinez were identified.
Street racing has been a growing problem in Dallas.
Dallas Police has a task force designated to tackle street racing and the city has added speed bumps and street lights to curb the issue.
