DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas Police are searching for the man accused of sexually assaulting a woman who was walking through Katie Jackson Park on Haverwood Lane near White Rock Creek late Friday night.
The victim told investigators she was walking the trials when a man wearing a dark-colored hoodie came up to her, spoke to her briefly, overpowered her and sexually assault her.
The woman was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.
After incident was reported around 11 p.m., police beefed up patrol of the park’s walking trails on Saturday.
The suspect, who is accused of aggravated sexual assault, is a black man, 40-50 years old with a black beard with “noticeably grey” hairs.
Police are asking those who visit the park to be on alert and to report any unusual behavior.
