Dallas Police Seeking Help Solving Apparent Road Rage Murder, Father of 4 Killed

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas Police are asking the public to help solve an apparent road rage shooting that claimed the life of a father of four over the weekend.

49-year-old Juan Manuel Hurtado was killed when he was shot on Saturday around 7:40 p.m. on the eastbound I-30 service road just before I-45/75 split.

Investigators said Hurtado, was found inside his car with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Witnesses said the suspect was driving a light or silver colored truck.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment. Tipsters can call 214-373-TIPS (8477).

Hurtado’s family has set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for funeral expenses. According to the page, Hurtado left behind a wife, four kids and four great grandchildren.
