(WBAP/KLIF) — A prosecutor says a woman charged in connection with the death of her 8-year-old son could face fraud charges. Gloria Williams is accused of receiving the dead boy’s government assistance even after he was allegedly beaten to death by the woman’s boyfriend.
Williams remained jailed, Friday, after being charged with felony injury to a child by omission, injury to a child and tampering with evidence. her boyfriend, Brian Coulter, has been charged with murder. The boy’s skeletal remains had been decomposing for months inside a Houston-area apartment where three abandoned siblings were found in deplorable conditions.
A court-appointed attorney says the woman doesn’t fully comprehend the severity of the charges. Brian coulter has been charged with murder after allegedly beating the woman’s son to death.
