PLANO (WBAP/KLIF) – The Plano Police department has made an arrest in a double murder investigation
29-year-old Blake Ryan Richards has been charged with capital murder for the shooting death of his sister, 28-year-old Brittany Rayne Richards and her boyfriend 26-year old Ross Linford Escalante in their Plano home.
Richards is being held at the Collin County Detention Center on a $1 million bond.
Richardson police spanned three North Texas cities, Wednesday night, to solve the shooting death of two victims.

Authorities received a call at around 7:30pm of a reported homicide in Richardson. The call led police to a Plano home in the Fairfield of Plano subdivision where they found both a man and a woman dead of multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers then headed to Wylie where they arrested a suspect without incident. Plano police detectives in the crimes against persons unit have opened a full investigation into the murders.
