(WBAP/KLIF) — Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker has announced that she and her husband David both have COVID-19. The two tested positive Sunday.
Parker indicates that she and her husband are in good spirits and appreciates everyone’s thoughts and prayers. She issued a statement saying, “I am thankfully only experiencing mild symptoms from this breakthrough case.” Parker was vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine in April and is following Fort Worth City guidelines by isolating at home to perform her duties.
