Dallas Women Indicted in ‘depraved & calculated’ Murder-for-Hire of her Husband

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A Dallas woman was indicted Wednesday in what the federal officials called the “depraved and calculated” murder-for-hire of her husband.

49-year old Jennifer Lynne Faith is accused of encouraging her boyfriend to kill her husband Jamie Faith last year, according to federal officials based in Dallas. They say she swayed her boyfriend to commit the murder by posing under fake email accounts. The deceased man was the IT director for American Airlines when he died.

Faith was initially charged with obstruction of justice in the killing; Jamie Faith was fatally shot while he and Jennifer walked their dog near their Oak Cliff home last October.

Acting U.S. Attorney Prerak Shah said in a news release. “She preyed on her boyfriend’s protective instinct and his pocketbook in order to convince him to execute her husband.”

Faith’s boyfriend, 49-year old Darrin Ruben Lopez, (pictured right) faces a state murder charge and federal gun charge. .
