Dallas Mavericks to Require Proof of COVID Vaccination or Negative Test to Attend Home Games

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Mavericks, on Wednesday, announced the team’s COVID related requirements for the upcoming season.

According to requirements sent to season ticket holders, and posted on the team’s website, the Mavs are requiring fans to show proof of a negative COVID test within 48 hours of attending a home game or to show proof of vaccination.

The team said staff will check documents at the door but the info can also be uploaded online. The only exceptions will be for children under 12 unless they’ve seated in the first 15 rows.

“Beginning October 1, 2021, you will be able to easily upload the desired documents and check-in by following the steps on MavsCheckin.com for seamless entry into the arena. If you do not have access to a smart phone, all attendees must bring a printed or digital copy of negative test results or physical COVID-19 vaccination card,” read a statement from the team.

The Mavericks will also require fans to wear masks when they aren’t eating or drinking.

The pre-season home opener is set for October 6th.
