
AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott has ordered Texas flags across the state to be lowered to half-staff to honor the U.S. service members who lost their lives during an attack at the airport yesterday in Kabul, Afghanistan.
I ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff to honor the U.S. service members killed in yesterday’s horrific attack in Kabul.
U.S. Marine David Lee Espinoza, a Laredo native, was one of the 13 service members killed.
He was 20 years old.

The Governor said flags should remain at half-staff through sunset on Monday, August 30.
