DEL RIO, TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Governor Gregg Abbott is joined by fellow conservative, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, at the Texas border in Del Rio Saturday. De Santis, deploying law enforcement officers to help apprehend people trying to illegally cross the border into the U.S.
Customs and Border Patrol reports drug seizures at the border were down 30% this June as compared to the month prior. although the agency reports cocaine shipments were up sharply. June numbers for the dangerous drug fentanyl, reported as 78% higher for the year 2021 thus far.
