Batesville, AK (WBAP/KLIF) – Texas fugitive Royce Edward Wood, 43, was taken in to custody by US Marshalls in Batesville, Arkansas this morning.
Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin as saying that Wood and his girlfriend Tiffany Caswell (pictured below) were brought into custody by the U.S. Marshalls this morning in Batesville, Arkansas.
Wood was wanted connection with a shooting that wounded a Rhome Police officer on June 13.
He and Caswell are also suspects in a home invasion that happened on June 12.
Both were reportedly taken into custody without incident.
The officer involved in the shooting was hospitalized with a leg wound. He is recurperating at home.
