Search Continues for Missing Irving Mother

IRVING  (WBAP/KLIF News) – A North Texas family is on edge as Irving Police continue to search for 38-year-old Lashun Massey.

The mother of two was last seen walking near Lake Lago de Claire in La Vallita Tuesday morning between 5:30 a.m. – 7 a.m.

The current Mrs. Dallas and Mrs. Texas America pageant contestant was wearing a black hoodie and checkered pajama pants.

Investigators said the morning walks are a part of Massey’s routine but she would typically return home by 7 a.m. to get her kids ready for remote learning.

When she didn’t return home, her husband reported her missing around 7:40 a.m.

Massey is a program director for research at the University of Texas at Dallas, according to her LinkedIn Profile. She’s also the author of “The Face of the New Engineer.”
