DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) Irving – An unidentified man shot and killed himself in front of Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne’s home in Irving Wednesday around 3:45 in the afternoon.
Irving Police Officer Robert Reeves confirmed the Representative was home with others when it happened. They heard the gunshot and came outside to find the man on her front walkway. Van Duyne was reportedly shocked and saddened that someone would take their own life.
Police say they have not determined if Van Duyne knew the man. The FBI is also involved with the investigation.
