(WBAP/KLIF) — More than 200 lost Vietnam war soldiers received their long-awaited welcome home, Thursday, as their names were read aloud during a ground-breaking ceremony.
Fort Worth Aviation Museum chair Jim Hodgson says Tarrant county will construct a Vietnam war memorial at Veterans Memorial Park in remembrance of those who died.
The memorial will include a tree with leaves bearing the names of county residents who died during the war. the $30-thousand memorial is still in need of donations for construction. To donate to the memorial, visit the Vietnam War Era Memorial.
