Hurricane Eta making landfall this morning on the coast of Nicaragua with 150 mph sustained winds, storm surge of 12-18 feet and rains of 15-30″ spreading over most of Central America next 72 hours. Similar to Hurricane Andrew in south Florida in 1992.
Election Day Weather okay except in the NW corner with routine rains in Portland and Seattle, spreading inland, routine snows in northern New England and routine rains on the east coast of Florida.
