FT. WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris made a campaign stop in Ft. Worth Friday afternoon speaking to an invitation only group of about 250 supporters at First Saint John Cathedral.
During her 30 minute presentation Harris touched on the economy, immigration as well as the pandemic. She told the crowd ” there are clear choices in this election. Because of this pandemic the worsening of the wealth gap in America is such that over 30 million people in just the last several months had to file for unemployment insurance.”
Polling shows a tight race in Texas. Ft. Worth was one of three cities in the Lone Star State on Harris’ itinerary.
