DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott said Thursday that he’s ready to start his “road to a comeback.”
The Instagram post came just days after suffering a season ending ankle injury in Sunday’s game against the New York Giants. He has ankle surgery earlier this week. Prescott addressed his fans in his for his social media post.
“This adversity is just going to be another chapter in the book,” Prescott insisted. “I’m looking forward to this football season. Seeing the game from a different perspective. I’m just excited for God’s purpose and God’s plan.”
While Prescott is out, former TCU standout Andy Dalton takes over at Quarterback for the Cowboys.
