Austin, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – The Texas Workforce Commission has reinstated the work search requirement for for people receiving unemployment benefits.
TWC spokesman Cisco Gamez says the information must be submitted beginning with the November 15th claim.
“To be eligible for benefits claimants will need to register at workintexas.com; if you live another state you must register at another workforce office in that state. You’ll need to search for work and make at least the minimum number of search activities (3) each week.”
The work search requirement had been waived for months amid the coronavirus pandemic.
