Wolfe City Police Officer Charged With Murder in Shooting of Unarmed Man

Wolfe City, Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – A police-involved-shooting has shocked residents of a small town in Hunt County.

It happened in Wolfe City where many of the town’s 1500 residents demanded justice for 31-year old Jonathon Price

during a march and prayer vigil.

Late Monday night the Wolfe City officer involved was arrested and charged with murder by the Texas Rangers.

Witnesses say Price was unarmed and trying to break up a fight at a gas station when he was shot by Officer Shaun Lucas who $1-million dollars bond.

According to multiple reports, residents of Wolfe City describe the victim as an upstanding pillar of the community.

Wolfe City is about an hour northeast of Dallas.
