DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The return to online learning didn’t go without technical issues in the two largest North Texas school districts.
Fort Worth and Dallas School districts both experienced slow loading or loading errors on their websites on Tuesday. Some phone lines were also disrupted.
This issue is being investigated by our web hosting vendor. It appears that Dallas ISD and Houston ISD are having the same issues with the same vendor. We appreciate your patience.

Online course instruction wasn’t impacted, but Clint Bond with Fort Worth ISD said parents registering students online likely experienced the problems.
“We usually register several thousand children on the first day of school so it may have posed a problem for them,” Bond said.
The issue was with the district’s vendor, Blackboard, based in Utah which worked to resolve the issue.
