
LEWISVILLE (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- Dozens of residents at a Lewsiville apartment complex are displaced following a Sunday morning fire caused by a bolt of lightening.
The Lewisville Fire Department was called to the fire at 5:45 a.m. First responders say they saw flames and smoke coming from the roof of the three story apartment building which houses 86 apartments.
WFAA-TV reports the fire eventually got so big that the Lewisville Fire Department had to call in The Colony, Coppell, Highland Village, and Flower Mound Fire Departments.
First responders were able to evacuate everyone out of the apartment safely. Rose Hill Apartment management told officials that housing arrangements have been made for those effected.
