Austin (WBAP/KLIF) – Federal health officials are planning a COVID-19 testing blitz in Texas and a few other states. The details haven’t been announced, but the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says the idea is to find young adults who have no coronavirus symptoms, and may be unknowingly spreading the disease. To do that they’ll perform in a few days as many tests as would normally be done in a month. Just when they’re going to start doing that, and where they’ll do it, has not yet been announced. The feds do say they plan to concentrate on Texas, Louisiana, and Florida.
