Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – It is uncertain whether there will be a State Fair of Texas this year, or not. A statement from the fair says no decision has yet been made about holding it during the COVID-19 pandemic. The organizers say they’ll have a decision sometime in mid or late July, but they admit finding a way to host two million or more visitors for 24 days will be extremely difficult. If they decide to go ahead, they say the fair will be different than it has been in the past. Figuring out how different it will be is what they’re trying to do now. The fair’s scheduled run is from September 25 to October 18.
