Cooper (WBAP/KLIF) – The former president of a bank in a small Texas town northeast of Dallas has pleaded guilty to several criminal charges. Anita Moody admitted stealing $11 million from the Enloe State Bank in Cooper by creating fake loans. Cooper is a town of fewer than 2,000 residents. Moody also admitted she tried burn the bank down to hide what she’d done. She’ll be sentenced to seven years in prison, and has agreed to pay restitution in full. Ms. Moody told the court she spent the $11 million on what she describes as “lifestyle.”
