Van Zandt County (WBAP/KLIF) – There was good news out of Van Zandt County overnight.
Captain Tim Scharffenburg with the sheriff’s department announced that 14-year old Willow Sirmans, the subject of an Amber Alert late Wednesday night was found safe in Louisville, Kentucky last night.
Sirman’s alleged captor 21-year old Austen Walker arrested.
Mathew Desarno, FBI special-agent-in-charge in Dallas said that a second person of interest, Courtney Odum, was interviewed in the Missouri area and her information was critical in locating Sirmans and Walker. Odum was also taken into custody on kidnapping charges.
