Irving (WBAP/KLIF) – At least 40 workers at an Irving poultry processing plant have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The Wisconsin based Brakebush Brothers plant employs more than 750 people. It was shut down for four days in April for a deep cleaning, and says it has strengthened its employee safety precautions. Two dozen of the infected employees have returned to work since the outbreak began there. No citations have been given to Brakebush from local, state or federal authorities.
