Dallas Fire-Rescue Members Continue Battling COVID-19

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- Dallas Fire-Rescue continues to battle COVID-19 cases.

Dallas Fire-Rescue has now had a total of 13 confirmed COVID-19 cases. But as of Friday night 11 of those that tested positive have fully recovered and returned to work.

45 members are currently quarantined due to exposure both on and off duty. Some of these members have been tested and are awaiting results.

“We continue to evaluate all aspects of departmental operations for effectiveness and needed changes or enhancements,” said Dallas Fire-Rescue Chief Dominique Artis, “Always remember that your health and safety is my number one priority.”
