DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A North Texas child care franchise is stepping up to support essential workers during the COVID-19 crisis.

College Nannies Franchise Owner, Amisha Sinha said the company is teaming up with Governor Greg Abbott’s office as part of the Frontline Texas Child Care Program. “We are waiving our standard enrollment fees for those essential child care workers just to help them out a little bit and be able to sign up for our services and get in home child care.” The essential workers include first responders, and healthcare and medical professionals.Franchise Owner, Amisha Sinha said how much money you can save on enrollment fees depends on the franchisee. “Each office does set its own pricing but it does range anywhere from $99 to $199.

Sinha believes families need reliable child care on a regular basis, but especially during the COVID-19 crisis. Adding that “Every employee goes through a rigorous national background screening, orientation, interview, and ongoing training after being hired.” Essential workers can search for care through the state’s Frontline Child Care Portal: https://frontlinechildcare.texas.gov/frontline-employee.html. They can also find child care through College Nannies’ website for essential workers: https://www.collegenanniesandtutors.com/essential-childcare/ .
