DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- A Dallas mattress cleaning company is now using its technology to clean N95 masks so they can be reused. Michael Ingel Founder and CEO of Clean Sleep said the process takes about 12 minutes and it kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. “The machine has a retrofitted rack in it that holds between 175 to 200 masks and we are running them through a high concentration of ultraviolet light and heat infrared technology to sanitize them,” said Ingel. He said each mask can be reused up to 20 times. “We can do several thousands of masks a day,” said Ingel. “It’s a mobile unit so we can service on site but because of the volume of hospitals we have right now we have it set up in our facility and we are picking up and dropping off masks every 24 hours so we can service them around the clock,” he said.
Clean Sleep is currently servicing about 15 hospitals across Texas.
