Loads of Hope: Tide Cleaners Offers Free Laundry Services for First Responders, Medical Personnel in Dallas County

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- Dallas medical personnel, police officers, firefighters and their immediate family can locate a nearby Tide Cleaners and get their personal clothes washed and dry cleaned for free.

Front-line responders are putting their safety on the line every day to ensure the health and well-being of the Dallas community during the current COVID-19 Pandemic and Tide would like to help lighten the load on them and their immediate family members. Tide Cleaners businesses are locally owned and operated in the Dallas community.

Storefronts can wash items like jeans, shorts and tee-shirts as well as socks and undergarments. Tide Cleaners believes in the importance of life over laundry. With front-line responders focused on saving lives and providing much-needed care for those in our community, that is more true now than ever before.

Lyde Lundy partner with Tide Dallas says they have three drop off locations in the Dallas area and will even pick up at your home if necessary by calling 214-238-3141.

Here are the drive through locations:

Irving: 2900 North MacArthur Blvd

Dallas: 10242 Midway Road

Carrollton: 2457 Midway Road

“We ask that they have a photo ID to prove where they work and if a family member comes instead, they will have to show photo ID as well,” said Lundy.

Each family can drop off four tall kitchen bags worth of laundry. “It’s a pretty good amount of clothing that we will handle it for them and we will do it once a week until May 9th but that could extend out,” said Lundy.
