Denton (WBAP/KLIF) – The Denton City Council Friday night amended its earlier declaration of disaster in order to postpone its scheduled May 2 city council election. Exactly when that election will be held has not yet been decided. The city of Denton will petition the state government for an alternative date that, of course, must be prior to the November 3rd general election.
