Euless (WBAP/KLIF) – A music teacher at South Euless Elementary School has been charged with indecency with a child. The charge against 55 year old Jeffrey Brooks stems from 2005, and involves a then-8-year-old girl who was receiving private music lessons from Brooks at Grapevine Faith Christian School. Brooks turned himself in, and has since been released on bail. The Hurst-Euless-Bedford School District has placed Brooks on paid leave. The 14 year old charge against him is a second degree felony, and was brought late last year by the alleged victim who is now an adult. She says she and Brooks were alone in a classroom when the molestation occurred.
