White Settlement, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A candlelight vigil was held outside the West Freeway Church of Christ last night, just a day after the deadly shooting that claimed 2 lives.
Pastor Britt Farmer spoke of the one of the victims who was part of the church’s security team
“He was my best friend. He died saving lives. Preachers don’t have many best friends. If you’ve never been a preacher, you won’t understand that,” he said. “But he was my best friend, and he died saving lives.”
The other victim, Anton Wallace was a deacon at the church.
Pastor Farmer asked the crowd to pray for “these two great men.”
