Grand Prairie (WBAP/KLIF) – The latest victim was an 81 year old Grand Prairie resident whose death was confirmed Friday. The first fatality was a 36 year old Dallas resident who died of the illness earlier this month. The County’s Health Director says “this is the earliest we have had this much flu activity in the last 10 years.” Dr. Phillip Huang urges anyone who has not yet been vaccinated against the flu to do so now, and by that Dr. Huang says he means everyone six months and older.
