Austin (WBAP/KLIF) – A number of new laws went into effect in Texas, Sunday, September 1. Texans who legally own firearms will be able to carry them in public after an official declaration of a State of Natural Disaster. School districts will no longer be able to ban possession of guns stored in locked vehicles.
Children are now legally able to sell lemonade or other non-alcoholic beverages at stands on private property, or in public parks.
21 will be the legal smoking age in Texas. Those under 21 cannot legally buy cigarettes or other tobacco products.
Texans will now be able to leave breweries with craft beer, and beer and wine can now be delivered.
