NASA employees now cleaning toilets at the Johnson Space Center

Houston (WBAP/KLIF) – The Johnson Space Center in Houston is now requiring NASA employees who have been working without pay during the government shutdown to “volunteer” to clean the bathrooms, and take out the garbage. The Space Center reportedly now has minimal or no custodial services, so it’s demanding its employees perform janitorial work in addition to their primary duty, keeping the International Space Station operating. None of those employees have been paid for more than a month, and morale at the Space Center is said to be suffering.
Governing Magazine reports close to 36,000 federal employees in Texas have been furloughed or are working without pay
