CARROLLTON (WBAP/KLIF News) — One man is behind bars and another is in the hospital after a disagreement leads to gunshots at a high school football game Thursday night.
Two adults — one in his 30’s and the other in his 40’s — were fighting in the stands at Hebron High School’s stadium at the junior varsity game between Hebron High School and Irving Nimitz.
Carrollton Police say the two took their fight outside of the stadium and made it near the ticket booth, when one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the other. The stadium was cleared, and the game was canceled.
No students were involved in the incident.
A note was sent out to parents at Hebron High School, saying school is on schedule for Friday, and that counselors will be available to anyone who needs them.
