2 Police Officers Among Several Injured in Fiery Multi-Car Wreck in Northwest Dallas

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Two Dallas police officers are among seven people who were injured in a fiery multi-car wreck in Northwest Dallas.

Dallas Fire-Rescue said the crash happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Townsend Road and Marsh Lane.

Two cars caught on fire.

Multiple units responded to the scene and everyone involved in the accident managed to get out of their cars safely.

Everyone involved was taken to Texas Presbyterian Hospital and Parkland Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

All are expected to recover.

It’s not year clear what caused the crash but there are reports that it started with a police chase involving a stolen car.
