Update at 1:45pm:
Authorities have evacuated an Army Reserve base in Seagoville following a report of gunfire. Police say a bullet fragment was found in one of the buildings but police never encountered a shooter. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office evacuated the base and swept all the buildings out of precaution. Police say there were no signs of an active shooter. No one was hurt and no suspects have been named.

SEAGOVILLE (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Seagoville Army Reserve Base has been evacuated in response to a report of an active shooter.
The Seagoville Police Department’s Christine Worth said first responders secured the scene quickly.
“Our officers are out there. They’ve secured the area. They’re in the process of evacuating. We’ve got air support. We’ve got DPD out there,” she said.
Authorities have not confirmed a shooter but are evacuating the base as a precaution.
