Temple (WBAP/KLIF) – The police in Temple, Texas shot and killed an armed suspect early this morning. They were fired upon from one of the units when they answered a disturbance call at an apartment complex about 3:30 AM. Temple officers fired back, and the gunman was killed. Another man was wounded in the exchange. He lives in that apartment. The gunman did not, and the apartment residents swear they never saw him before. They also say they have no idea who he was, or why he was there.
Temple Police say their investigation continues.
