Dallas Holiday Parade to March Through Downtown Streets

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Holiday Parade is slated for Saturday morning.

Courtesy of a large donation, the parade will march through the streets of downtown Dallas. Last month the parade was in financial trouble when a long time sponsor backed out, but because of an undisclosed donation from Toyota North America, it was saved.

“Toyota team members and our families want to see the marching bands, the giant balloons, the beautiful floats, and the beautiful mobility a parade can bring as it moves through the streets of downtown Dallas,” said Toyota Executive Vice President, Corporate Resources and Chief Diversity Officer, Chris Reynolds.

Reynolds said that since moving its headquarters to Plano, the company has been welcomed graciously by the region and was glad to return the favor. Other local businesses and private donors made contributions to save the parade.

The parade is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
