DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Three constructions workers are in critical condition after falling from a scaffolding on a construction site near Baylor hospital in Dallas Tuesday afternoon.
Dallas Fire Chief Alan Springer said 15 to 25 mile-per-hour wind gusts caused the structure to fall over.
“The way I understand it it was the wind that caught the tarp or the screening that they were trying to put around the scaffolding. It was set up about 25 to 30 feet in the air. The wind caught it and pulled the whole scaffolding down,” he said.
The accident sent 11 workers to the hospital with non-life threatening to critical injuries.
